Higher throughput can be achieved with the 4 channel furnace cell configuration. It contains a silver furnace (passivated) with 4 spatially separated channels (4 complete channels including sample cell, optical pathway, detection channel). This configuration allows the characterization of 4 independent samples at the same time with identical time, temperature and atmospheric conditions. The individual in- and outflow of each sample cell's reaction atmosphere is designed to efficiently prevent cross contamination. The 4 channel configuration enables the precise characterization of samples up to a diameter of 6 mm.
